Maa Siddheswari Temple


The Maa Siddheswari Temple is just 1 km away from the resort and takes 5 mins to reach by cab. It’s a awakened temple established in the year 1907.A good number of people from different part of the country come here to worship round the year. Here one can worship Maa Siddheswari , God Shiva , God Narayan , God Ganesh , God Surya and Hanumanji in the same place. In Navaratri time people come all the way from Bhutan, Nepal and north eastern part of India.

Bindu


The place Bindu is in a distance of 18 kms from Olive Inn Resort and takes 1 hr ( approx ) to reach by car.Bindu is built across the Jaldhaka river.The Bindu village is the last village on the Indian land near the Indo-Bhutan border. It’s a beautiful place for nature lovers and photographers as mountains are on both side of the river along with beautiful greeneries.

Jaldhaka Dam


The Jaldhaka Dam is in a distance of 10 Kms from Olive Inn Resort and takes around 35 mins time to reach by car. The wild beauty of Jaldhaka Dam is between India and Bhutan. The bubbling river looks beautiful and very attractive for tourists mainly photographers. Its cloud capped valley with ice cold water and rock made absolutely mesmerising for tourists.

Jhalong


The Jhalong is in a distance of 11 Kms from Olive Inn Resort and takes around 40 mins time to reach by car This tourist spot is surrounded by the thickly wooden forest and astounding hills of Bhutan in the backdrop. The place is undoubtedly a paradise for nature lovers. The place is situated near the Indo-Bhutan border on the banks of the Jaldhaka river on the way to Bindu.Birds lovers can enjoy a varied collection of hill birds as well as migratory birds from different places.

Dalgaon View Point


The Dalgaon view point is in a distance of 11 Kms from Olive Inn Resort and takes around 40 mins time to reach by car.A hilltop soothing place , very calm and quiet place to enjoy Bhutan hills and part of Dooars.Its a nice place to spend a good leiser time and perfect place to take selfie with nature on the back. Chisang


The Chisang is in a distance of 10 Kms from Olive Inn Resort and takes around 35 mins time to reach by car. Chisang is a small yet a splendid village one must visit. Chisang is 4 kms driving distance away from Indo-Bhutan border. Chisang is truly a picturesque village that offers a breathtaking view of Bhutan's Tendu Valley and the Nathula range. The travellers are also drawn to the peaceful rural living style and the adventure. Chisang is recognised for its medicinal herbs as well as its world famous organic cardamom manufacturing.

Dawai Khola


The Dawai Khola is in a distance of 11 Kms from Olive Inn Resort and takes around 40 mins time to reach by car. One can visit the beautiful Druk Thek Sum Choling Monastery. The roads leading to the monastery are small and steep. This location is perfect for hiking and trekking. A fun picnic can be planned going down to Dawai Khola riverbed. The water of the river is medicinal as claimed by local people. In short it’s a nice place to spend quality time with friends and family.

Gorumara Forest Safari


The distance from Olive Inn Resort is around 50 Kms. One can visit and enjoy the safari in the early morning and in the evening and can come back to resort in the same day. It takes 1 hour and 15 mins ( aprox ) to reach Gorumara from Olive Inn Resort by car. Gorumara National Park was established in the 1992. Its primarily known for its population Indain Rhinoceros. The park is spread over an area of approx 80 sq km. Gorumara is an important National Park of North Bengal. Its situated just at the foothills of Eastern Himalaya in the Terai region, On the flood plains in Murti , Raidak , Jaldhaka a tributary of Brahmaputra flows beside the National Park.

Murti


Murti is the name of river flowing down from Neora Valley National Park. Murti is the same river between the Xhapramari forest and Gorumara National Park. Murti is famous in Dooars for its mesmerising scenic beauty. Murti is situated in the woodland of Dooars region is an extremely beautiful place. The shimming stream of Murti river makes this place even more attractive for tourists. The distance from Olive Inn Resort is only 40 kms. Tourist can enjoy Gorumara safari and other sightseeing’s including Murti river and can come back to Olive Inn Resort in the same day which is wrathful and perfect plan for a tourist to this part.

Rongo


Sited beside the Indo-Bhutan border Rongo is a tiny yet picturesque village. One can easily get lost in the serene ambience of nature. Surrounded by luxuriant forest , conchona plantations,Rongo offers beautiful views of surrounding hills, green lush forests and Jaldhaka river valley. Numerous Himalayan birds flying across Rongo in North Bengal. Relish the magnificent views of the surrounding green mountains , the dense forest as well the valley of Jaldhaka from the village. One can visit the Rongo monastery also which is beautifully constructed. The distance is only 15 kms from Olive Inn Resort.

Todey & Tangta


The place is located farthest end of the Indian border there are two small hamlets perched at an altitude 1500 mtr Todey & Tangta. Todey is the closest Indian village located near the Bhutan's western border.Todey & Tangta are two villages ahead of Bindu in the Neora Valley Park. Travellers exploring the Dooars region use the route towards Todey and Tangta as the trekking trail, a trek through the dense forest from the Bindu full of the picturesque sight has lured many trekkers towards these quaint villages Todey and Tangta. Travellers can hire cab to reach to these destinations. A decade old church in Todey and mesmerising serene ambience with backdrop view of the hills of Bhutan are the main attraction. Trekkers can explore more and enjoy the view of Rochella Peak. Rochella is known to harbour many natural lakes. Take a dip in the medical water of the Dawai Khola while returning to the Todey.
